Come and row with us 

Whether you’re an experienced rower, returning to the sport after some time away, or looking to take up rowing for the first time, you’ll be very welcome at Walbrook Rowing Club Teddington. 

We’re a friendly club with members of all ages and abilities, from those who enjoy recreational rowing through to crews training and competing regularly. 

 

New to rowing? 

If you haven’t rowed before, that’s not a problem. 

We run Learn to Row courses during the year, as well as junior courses and improver sessions for those who have rowed previously and would like to develop their skills or return to the sport. 

If you’re unsure which option would suit you, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.

 

Membership options 

• Adults £455 per year- whether you row competitively, recreationally or are relatively new to the sport. 

• Young Adult £145 per year – Ages 19–25 - whether you’re at university, working or doing something else entirely. You don’t need to be a full-time student to qualify. 

• Juniors (Under 19) - Approximately £1000 (£6/session) - includes all coaching throughout the year from 1st September to 20th July. Fees are slightly adjusted per age group 

• Coxing only – Free - Whether you’re an experienced cox or interested in learning, we’d be pleased to hear from you. 

 

If you join part-way through the membership year, your Walbrook membership fee will be reduced accordingly. 

 

Teddington Watersports Centre 

Walbrook is based at the Teddington Watersports Centre (TWC) and Walbrook Rowing members are also required to become members of TWC. TWC membership provides access to the sites land-training facilities. 

TWC membership:  

• Over 23 years old - £240 per year 

• Under 23 years old and Juniors - £150 per year
