Interchangeable shoe solution

BONT QRS24

Throughout our fleet we have started to use the Bont QRS24 interchangeable shoe solution.

Although compatible with a variety of shoes, not all shoes accommodate the Drive QRS24 system.

It is compatible with the Bont rowing shoes.​

At Walbrook we follow the following colour system:-

  • Men: yellow + black

  • Women: green + black

  • Private: blue + black

I've bought some shoes, now what?

Follow the shoe plate installation instructions.

You will need

  • 1 pair of shoes

  • 1 pair of Drive QRS24 Shoe plates

  • 1 pair of Drive QRS Heel set

Important notes

  • Do not use electric screwdrivers as can over tighten screws and or damage the shoes

  • Fittings for shoes – left and right are different so need to be fitted to correct shoe

  • Footplate fittings are fixed to stretcher plate

  • ​Do not forget to secure the heel restraint
