                                                                Water temperature

An Environmental Agency live river warning, weather (air temperature), gauge (flow rate) map and water temperature (at Shiplake) are shown above.  Before boating, please check all four of these in conjunction with the safety rules for boating under the safety section.

Make sure you are aware of the reach navigation which has been agreed by all the rowing clubs and in particular the no stopping zones

We are a very friendly and welcoming rowing club, based on the River Thames near to Teddington Lock – and although we may be biased, we think Walbrook is the best place to row on the Thames. Our fleet of racing boats is one of the best in the area and we have over 6km of water available to row on between Molesey and Teddington locks.

We are keen to recruit both men and women, from complete beginners to those who have a lot of experience. We are recruiting now for juniors and adults and have learn to row course for the juniors starting soon. See our Learn to Row page for adults and the Junior pages for those under 18, for more details.

We have experienced coaches to teach you and for those who want to train at a high level, coaches with the ability to take you there. Whether you want to join our senior women training for Henley Women's Regatta or our successful Masters group or simply row on a social basis we have coaches who can help you achieve your aims.

Check out our contacts page.

We look forward to seeing you!
