University students are welcome to join us please contact the membership secretary.
We may allow potential members to 'try before buying' at up to five sessions before paying and signing up.
In the summer, we advertise and run adult novice courses specifically to cater for the great interest in 'getting out on the water' the warm weather brings, for beginners in the local area. On these courses we like to train people to a standard where they can scull and row with competence to move on and join our rowing squads.
There is a charge for adult novice courses but there is a deduction from annual membership for those that stay on and join us as full members.
Any guest rower must pay Walbrook membership after 5 occasions of rowing at Walbrook. However, for members of other clubs who are rowing in composite crews in their own club colours, they must pay half Walbrook subs if they row more than 5 occasions at Walbrook, and must pay full membership after 10 occasions.
CCF subs of £2.50 per visit must be paid after the 5th visit. To be collected by the person who is hosting them at Walbrook.
Any guest must row in the same boat as the person who is hosting them. No guests may take out single sculls.
If you would like to join Walbrook, or to find out more, you can contact Diane Graham or Bob Hopkins 07976 825536
