Reason for award: Anna deserves special praise not only for the improvement she has shown but the courage she showed in racing a great race at Teddington Head as she was very very nervous and we didn't think she would go through with it at one stage. Summer 2017

Emer Fonntanez - Emer has been a very committed member of the J16 squad. When she joined us her technique was far behind the rest of the J16s and now she is right up at the top end. She has committed to improve all year. In April she fell and broke her hand and this has meant that she has not been able to race and that her crew could not enter the top event of the year. She has been really mature about this and has pushed her fitness further to  improve strength where she could and to remain fit so that when her hand was better she wold be ready to race. Emer chose to fund the marquee site at national schools

Louis Duncan - Louis has given a lot more focus this term, he's really shown a willingness to learn and a want to go faster and faster.
He is so willing to help out when others need it.Louis has chosen to fund a new cox box.

Khiranjeet Dhillon - Her improvement since September has been fantastic and she's really caught up with those who were better than herself. She was selected for the crew which was the fastest girls J14 in the UK at the national Junior Sculling Head and really spurred her crew mates on. Kiran has chosen to fund the food for the summer end of season barbecue.

Daniel Hedley - Daniel joined us as beginner in September 2015 and has taken to sculling. He never misses a session He is a mature racer and helps everyone at regattas, giving advice and tips. Daniel has chosen to fund an additional set of secodnhand sculling baldes for juniors.

Bella Bridge - competitive spirit, and success at racing with 3 wins over the last 2 weekends. Bella as fuided the equipment to put a speaker system in the coxed quad

Annabelle Suter - Annabelle and her crew trained on average 9 times a week and were 6th in the final at the National Schools Regatta. They then went on to qualify for Henley Women's Regatta. In stroking the boat Annabelle showed great maturity and competitive spirit in leading her crew to success. Annabelle chose to fund the gazebo pitch at national Schools with the money - especailly for the supporters.

Nick Levy - For commitment to the sport. Nick has been entered in several single sculling races and has proved to be competitive in his age group. This is perhaps the hardest of the boat classes as the single sculler has to multi task - making sure that he is steering, racing at full speed and executing his race plan at the same time. Nick has chosen to put the money towards the food for theend of season barbecue which will then raise funds for the cluib.
